Many times, when you frequent the same business to purchase a product or service, they start to know you by your first name. Much like Cheers where ‘everybody knows your name’, we take pride in treating our customers like family, close friends at best.

When the opportunity to purchase a corporate table at the Guardian Angel Benefit came up, we didn’t hesitate. We have held a fundraiser for Cancer Care Manitoba in the past and we are proud supporters of the foundation.

The Guardian Angel Benefit & Fashion show raises money for women’s cancers. As we all know, October is breast cancer awareness month and we hold the women in our lives closer to our heart this time of year.

Unlike our first Cancer Care fundraiser, we were not the organizers. When you’re a guest at such an event, all there is to do is go and have a good time. And that is what we did, and in a limousine as well.

It was wonderful to be in the presence of a diverse group of women, some of which have never been in a limousine; for another, it was her first night out of the town since having a baby.

We were honored to have as our guests at our corporate table, some of our loyal customers. Sue McGinnis, Natalie Duhamel, Mandi Jacobson, Joanne Noga, June Thompson, Maureen Early, and Penny Debrowski were the lovely ladies that gladly accepted our invitation to join us for this benefit.

We received such a great response, so much that it may entice us to make it an annual event.
